Army at the Fringe 2023
The 2023 edition of Army at the Fringe again gained global media coverage. This year's programme, Connected Pasts, Creative Futures investigated colonial past and technological future of warfare. I presented VR experiences from Fallujah and Ukraine; an immersive experience which forced the audience to decide how far they would go to Artificial Intelligence to win a conflict in the future; a new musical by serving soldiers and veterans and a play about UN Peacekeeping in Mali, which won a Fringe First and the Scottish Arts Trust award for the Leading Light Scottish Production at the Fringe. I also hosted the Scottish Poetry Library's young Makars. Playbill described us a venue and producer to watch. We were also fortunate to welcome the Secretary of State for Scotland, the Rt Hon Alister Jack MP to the venue. You can download the full brochure by clicking the button below.
